Saltwater Sandals! Nothing like a good pair on a warm day of summer! Okay, so mine are not the original saltwater sandal, but they made similarly. Saltwater's are a leather sandal with a durable heal and a buckle that won't rust. Interestingly enough, Saltwater sandals originated in the early 1940's as an alternative to traditional children's leather sandals as a way to cope with leather shortages in World War II. The sandals were made primarily from scrap leather left over from making men's shoes. Today they are a fashion statement for all ages! (www.mysaltwatersandals.com)
I'm a little curious as to fall fashion 2011 trend of clashing patterns you wouldn't imagine together. Will you be bold enough to try this New York Run Way Fashion Trend? It's a bold step indeed. Because anyone not caught up on the currents of the run way will think your a fashion disaster.
Yikes or Yay to clashing???
I spent a majority of today outside. A 12 mile bike ride, washing the car, and taking a nap outside. It was a wonderful opportunity to embrace the sunshine on my pale skin that's been kept from the sun as a result of working most afternoons! Today's outfit was mostly for work this evening::
{Swag:: Maurices // Lace Tank:: Maurices // Strait Denim Jeans:: Silvers // Saltwater Sandals:: So // Necklaces:: have had them for too long to remember // bracelets:: thrifted}
